Illustration Friday- Early

I didn’t have to think too hard about what to draw this week. After all, being a mother of two boys I have lived this scene out many-a-times. If the morning begins like this, it is typically followed by the coffee pot overflowing (which in itself is a tragedy), favorite pair of jeans failing to button, tripping on collected matchbox cars, and yes, being caught in a down pour with my umbrella resting comfortably on my kitchen counter.  Mornings like this are very few yet when they happen it is best to just hang on and enjoy the ride. 🙂

Next Weeks Challenge: Build portfolio, illustrate from a view-point or angle.

Oh yea! Been there! Really cute illo. They do eventually become more self sufficient and then you begin to miss those early years when they needed you. (But you also enjoy more sleep. 🙂 )

  4. I can so relate to this! My son’s falling over me looking at your other illos. I really like your imagination and takes on all the topics. Keep up the great work! 🙂

  5. Thanks to all for the feedback. I wanted to respond to all of you individually, yet this week has not allowed me to do that. (GRRRRR) Have a great week friends!
